On September 21, 2006 The VCU Young Alumni Council hosted a networking reception at Legends Brewing Co.

On November 14th The DC Metro Area Alumni Chapter had an alumni social at "Clydes" in Chinatown in the heart of downtown Washington, DC.

January 24th pre-game social at Brion's Grille prior to the VCU vs George Mason University Men's Basketball game.

February 10 pre-game social at Constant Center prior to the VCU vs Old Dominion University Men's Basketball game.
